Fall ReStyle Guide: Boots

For once, I can’t complain about the weather! It’s absolutely gorgeous in Chicago right now BUT any girl on a budget knows that the best way to snag a deal is to plan ahead. So here’s the next installment of the Fall ReStyle Guide – all about boots! If you didn’t guess by the blog title, I love, love, love shoes so my Pinterest is full of boots that I’ve been stalking.

Since boots are pricier than the average pair of heels, the goal is to find ones that can be dressed up or down. Let’s start with the riding boot:

The gorgeous caramel works well with a variety of colors. Pair it with a loose fitting knit and skinny pants for a daytime look.

And for night, embrace comfort in these flat boots but glam them up with colorblocking and statement earrings:

Looking for something that’s a little more feminine? Then the bootie is the perfect route to go. These have been popping up in stores in a variety of materials and colors so the sky is the limit! To get the most bang out of my buck, I try and stick to neutral colors for boots so here’s my favorite option:

So I had this image of a daytime look in my head – something with a flowing maxi skirt and chunky knit – and then I came across this picture. And nothing else needs to be said.
