Etsy find of the week: Yellow Jacket Vintage

Welcome to a new weekly feature here at H+H…Etsy Find of the Week! As you guys know, I’m always looking for inspiration and there’s no better place than the shops on Etsy. Today’s find is a shop that is located in Chicago (what’s better than supporting local small business owners?!) called Yellow Jacket Vintage. The shop has a great selection of vintage clothing, shoes and other accessories that span the decades and with fall fashion focusing on the ’70s, this is a great place to start!

These shoes caught my eye right away, the caramel color and mid-sized heel is a great option for the oxford trend that has been around for the past couple of years.

A modern twist could be added with a pair of dark teal-ish (yup, still obsessed) denim leggings:

…or pair them with an outfit like this to complete the boho, 70’s vibe:

Another amazing find is this pair of dark, high waisted Wrangler jeans. They have the perfect width to be a practical, daytime wide leg.

I love mixing decades so the addition of the top above, with its faux leather accents, or the moody, textured sweater below add a perfect touch of the ’90s to those jeans, keeping the look fresh and interesting.

Another great piece is this sea green lace slip that could be worn in the traditional way under a skirt but is substantial enough to be a skirt on it’s own…

…especially when paired with a chunky sweater like this that could carry this look from summer evenings into fall.
