Fall ReStyle Guide: Jeans
Ew. The mornings are chillier, evenings brisker and the sun is setting earlier and earlier. Let’s face it – fall is on its way. I’m going to miss summer (since it won’t be warm for another 9 months) but I am ready to dress in layers again. There’s also no better way to transition a summer wardrobe into fall, and even into the blustery Chicago winter. Seasonal refreshes allow outfits to be styled on a shoestring budget which is necessary for me.

Both of these styles have been around for a few seasons but if it ain’t broke why fix it, right? Instead of throwing these pairs out, here are a few ways to transform them into fall perfect…
H+H Fall ReStyle Guide: Colored Jeans
Colorblocking continues to be popular so keep strutting in those teal or red denim pairs! Ground them by wearing them with neutral tones (instead of pairing with another bright color). If you’re in love with a certain hue, bring hints of it into other pieces of your ensemble, as long as you balance the outfit with blacks, creams and browns.
Ankle length jeans are even easier to incorporate into your fall wardrobe. Booties are showing up in all of the shoe stores and sit perfectly for these jeans to graze the top of. If you’re a little more adventurous pair the flattering silhouette with thick socks that are slipped into t-strap sandals.
